01 Reflection

This isn’t about exposure.
It’s about clarity.

We Help Singers exists to make teaching approaches easier to name, including where they work well and where they don’t.

If you’re here because the question “Who am I actually great for?” feels familiar, you’re in the right place.

Here’s a glimpse of how these conversations sound:

Chris Johnson
Episode 01 · Chris Johnson

“When something doesn’t work, some teachers ask, ‘What haven’t I figured out yet?’ Others ask, ‘Why doesn’t the singer get it?'”

Justin Stoney
Episode 02 · Justin Stoney

“No teacher is right for every singer. That’s not a failure… it’s information.”

Shared for reflection, not agreement.

02 What Participation Means

What this is, and isn’t

What this is

  • + A chance to articulate how you actually work
  • + A thoughtful conversation about your teaching approach
  • + A collaborative process that values clarity over polish

What this isn’t

  • A marketing opportunity
  • A ranking or endorsement
  • A guarantee of visibility or student access
  • A test of credentials, popularity, or reach

Participation is not automatic, and that’s intentional.

Why We Ask Teachers to Apply

Not every thoughtful teacher is a good fit for this project.

We’re not looking for

  • Universal claims
  • Fixed answers
  • Teaching philosophies that apply to “everyone”

We are looking for

  • Reflection
  • Specificity
  • Comfort naming limits
  • Curiosity about why some singers thrive and others don’t

The application helps us decide whether a conversation would actually serve singers listening.

03 The Guest Path

How Teacher Participation Works

1

Short Application

5 minutes

A brief form to understand your teaching context and what you believe matters.

2

Review for Fit

We read every application carefully. Not everyone is invited to continue.

3

Perspective Questionnaire

5 to 7 minutes

If accepted, you’ll complete the Perspective Questionnaire—a short set of questions that helps us understand your teaching approach and prepares us for the conversation.

4

Podcast Conversation

Your Paradigm Fingerprint guides the interview so we can go deeper than surface explanations.

5

Teacher Profile Creation

Your Teacher Profile is built from your Paradigm Fingerprint and the conversation, then reviewed and approved by you before anything is published.

At every stage, participation is optional and collaborative.

A Note on the Perspective Questionnaire

The Perspective Questionnaire is not a test.

It’s a structured way to describe:

  • How you tend to teach
  • What you prioritize
  • Which singers usually thrive with you
  • Where your approach has edges

It helps us ask better questions, and helps singers understand context, not quality.

04 Before You Apply

You don’t need to be “ready.” You don’t need the right language yet. You don’t need to agree with everything we say.

But you do need to be willing to look at your work honestly.

If that feels energizing rather than threatening, this is probably a good fit.

Apply to Contribute

5 minutes. No preparation required.

Apply to Contribute

Applying doesn’t guarantee participation. It simply lets us explore whether a conversation makes sense.
